Software Engineer   

Location: Ashburton, VIC 3147, Australia 

Position Type: Full-time

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in web front-end development, test automation, and CI/CD processes. This role involves building responsive and scalable web applications, ensuring quality through automated testing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in front-end development and test automation, along with a basic understanding of DevOps practices. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Front-end Development: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications  

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform design prototypes into high-quality code. 

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 

  • Test Automation: 

  • Develop and maintain Sapien’s automated test scripts for front-end applications to ensure high-quality releases. 

  • Collaborate with the QA team to implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end). 

  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify test cases and scenarios. 

  • Assist in the implementation CI/CD through Azure DevOps 

  • Collaboration & Communication: 

  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions to foster a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. 

  • Work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration with APIs. 

  • Communicate effectively with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and project goals. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a development/web design team, creating and executing automated testing 

  • Experience in test automation, particularly for front-end applications. 

  • Skills and Knowledge: 

  • Required 

  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML/HTML 5/XHTML, jQuery & JavaScript 

  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium 

  • Microsoft Visual Studio + Microsoft DevOps 

  • Microsoft SQL Server  

  • Demonstrated knowledge & experience in interface design & site architecture.  

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies 

  • Ability to work flexible working hours 

  • Additional

  • Set up and work with Virtualised Machines (VMs) 

  • Worked in environments requiring Secure SDLC processes and cyber security awareness.

Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer  

Location: Ashburton, VIC 3147, Australia 

Position Type: Full-time 

Experience Level: 2+ years 

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with experience in testing web applications on cloud-based platforms, ideally within Azure environments. You will work closely with the Product and development team to ensure the reliability and performance of cloud-based platform. This role includes working with engineers to design, implement, and maintain both manual and automated test cases/scripts to ensure high-quality software releases and seamless user experiences. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manual and Automated Testing: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts to ensure the quality of Sapien cloud-based products and mobile applications. 

  • Manage, implement Sapien’s manual and automated test suites.  

  • Identify and track bugs, and work with the development team to ensure issues are resolved. 

  • Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of the cloud-hosted platform, including environment-specific tests and monitoring. 

  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, automation scripts, and quality processes. 

  • Participate in retrospective and team discussions to identify opportunities for process improvement. 

  • Stay updated on QA best practices, new testing frameworks, and automation tools, sharing insights with the team. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing on web-based/responsive UI products. 

  • Skills and Knowledge: 

  • Required 

  • Experience in a development/web design team, creating and executing automated and manual testing 

  • Demonstrated knowledge & experience in interface design & site architecture.  

  • Experience with Azure cloud testing, including performance, security, and reliability testing for cloud-hosted platforms. 

  • Strong proficiency with work item tracking tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) and test management software. 

  • Ability to work flexible working hours
